Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, has achieved a new milestone by setting a record for the largest continuous concrete pour in the country's history. The significant construction feat took place at Azizi Venice, a mixed-use community located in the rapidly expanding Dubai South area. The development, known for its expansive swimmable crystal blue lagoon—one of the largest of its kind in the world—saw over 22,000 cubic meters of concrete poured over a 56-hour period from July 26th to July 28th, 2024.

Mr. Mirwais Azizi, the Founder and Chairman of Azizi Developments, expressed pride in the accomplishment, stating, "The quality and speed at which our developments manifest from vision into reality fill us with immense pride. This extensive, record-breaking 2-day concrete pour, which is the largest of its kind in the UAE, exemplifies and serves as a testament to the fast pace at which our latest master-planned community project, Venice in Dubai South, is being constructed."

Azizi Venice will feature more than 36,000 residential units across over 100 apartment complexes, along with 109 ultra-luxury mansions. Azizi Developments is acting as the master developer, responsible for constructing the buildings, roads, and infrastructure. The community is distinguished by its massive crystal-blue water lagoon, surrounded by condominium buildings, villas, mansions, and extensive leisure, retail, and commercial spaces. The lagoon, with its turquoise, desalinated, and filtered waters, will be framed by beach-like shores, an 8 km-long cycling and jogging track, yoga and sports facilities, and a promenade with a wide variety of artisan eateries and boutiques.

A key highlight of the community will be Azizi Opera, an iconic venue for cultural and community events located at the heart of Azizi Boulevard. The luxurious pedestrian-friendly boulevard will offer a temperature-controlled environment with a mix of high-end retail, nightlife, and dining options, making it a prime tourist attraction and a high-end local hotspot expected to attract over 30,000 daily visitors. The community will also include two Azizi-owned five-star hotels and a boutique hotel on an island in the middle of the lagoon.

Additionally, Azizi Venice will feature a full-service hospital, schools, a kindergarten, and a 4 km-long main road lined with additional shopping and dining options. The community will offer numerous amenities designed specifically for children and will be adorned with stunning lighting features, musical and dancing water fountains, and seasonal decorations, enhancing its appeal as a year-round destination.

Strategically located in Dubai South's prestigious Golf District and alongside Emirates Road (E611), Azizi Venice offers convenient access to Dubai's major highways and points of interest, including a five-minute drive to the Al Maktoum International Airport. Azizi Developments' Sales Gallery is located on the 13th floor of the Conrad Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road.
