 Deira International School (DIS), under the Al-Futtaim Education Foundation (AFEF), has once again showcased its exceptional academic standards with the release of the 2024 GCSE results. These results further affirm AFEF schools' dedication to academic excellence and their prestigious status in the educational landscape.

Following two consecutive years of receiving the 'Outstanding' rating from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), DIS has delivered impressive results this year. Among the 117 students, 35% achieved A* grades, and 54% earned A*/A grades across key subjects such as Science, Maths, English, and Economics, reinforcing DIS’s reputation as a leader in education.

Notable high achievers include Haya Al Mansoori, Diya Thalitaya, Hussain Mustafa Aman, and Michalina Marta Figarska, with Haya Al Mansoori achieving a remarkable 100% A* grade in all subjects. Simon O’Connor, Director of DIS, praised the students, staff, and school community, emphasizing the collective dedication and resilience that led to these achievements.

The results, with over 50% A-A* grades and more than 75% A*-B grades, highlight the hard work of the entire DIS community. The school's Mathematics and English departments, as well as the Performing Arts and Physical Education departments, commended the students for their outstanding academic and extracurricular performances.
