AkzoNobel Conducts Blood Donation Drive in Dubai
Dubai, UAE; January 26, 2017: AkzoNobel, the world leader in efficiency coverings technology and innovation, carried out a blood donation drive in partnership with the Dubai Blood Donation Centre (DBDC) at its Al Quoz website. More than 60 staff members took part in contributing blood as part of the company's corporate social responsibility effort. The Al Quoz site in Dubai holds the Powder Coatings factory. Employees from all departments and features volunteered for the blood donation drive.
Rajiv Rajgopal, Regional Director - Efficiency Coatings for Middle East & Africa, said: "At AkzoNobel Middle East, our company believe that it is important to include our staff members in community tasks as part of our focus on enhancing our social obligation.
