The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has signed a strategic sponsorship agreement with Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE), marking a significant step toward fostering collaboration in supporting community and tourism events across the Emirate. This partnership aims to organize a range of events that will attract both local residents and international visitors, positioning Ajman as a leading tourist destination in the region.

The agreement was signed by H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of ATDD, and H.E. Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, CEO of Etihad Water and Electricity, in the presence of senior officials from both entities. This strategic alliance is designed to promote the exchange of knowledge, pool resources, and coordinate efforts between the two organizations to ensure the success of various events.

H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi commented on the collaboration: "This partnership with Etihad Water and Electricity is an essential part of our strategy to enhance Ajman’s reputation as a top tourist destination. It also highlights the importance of cooperation between government and private sectors to achieve developmental goals."

H.E. Yousif Ahmed Al Ali emphasized the significance of the agreement in fostering community engagement and promoting sustainable development: "At Etihad Water and Electricity, we are committed to supporting initiatives that benefit both the community and the environment. We look forward to actively participating in the events organized by the Ajman Tourism Development Department in the coming months."

Under the agreement, EtihadWE will sponsor various sports, tourism, and community events, helping to enhance the institutional presence of the company while showcasing its services and initiatives to both residents and tourists. The partnership is also expected to generate significant public engagement, further promoting Ajman as a destination for recreational and cultural activities.

The collaboration is set to expand Etihad Water and Electricity's involvement in Ajman’s tourism sector, ensuring widespread national coverage of upcoming events through multiple promotional channels.
