Aircraft Accessories and Components Company appoints Eng. Mazen Johar as CEO
The Board of Directors of Aircraft Accessories and Components Company (AACC), a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), announced the appointment of Eng. Mazen Johar as CEO to oversee the company's operations starting from July 6, 2020. Eng. Johar will take over from Dr Mansour Bineid who served as CEO of the company from March 2016
The choice of the Board of Supervisors to assign Eng. Johar as AACC Chief Executive Officer is available in acknowledgement of his deep knowledge and also considerable executive leadership experience of over twenty years, having held several leading placements in different industries. Before taking on his role as Deputy Minister for Industrial Services at the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Eng. Johar served as Executive Director and CEO of Nova Water, COO Ground Handling at Saudia Cargo, and Vice President Commercial and Support Services at Basic Chemical Industry. He has also held several leadership positions at Procter & Gamble International Corporation during his tenure of nearly 18 years in the company.
The Board of Supervisors wanted Eng. Johar success in his brand-new role as Chief Executive Officer, hoping that he will drive success with AACC's following stage of advancement, as well as help, accomplish its calculated objectives, thereby allowing it to play an energetic function in fulfilling the ambitions of Saudi Arabia. The Board also expressed its gratitude and also appreciation to Dr Bineid for his efficient function in looking after the business's organisation under his leadership, and his payments to AACC's milestones, including preparing the company for sustainable growth by completing the procedure of its procurement by SAMI.
AACC focuses on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and installation for aircraft hydraulics and Secondary Power Systems (SPS) for multiple platforms. The company's services also include the repair and maintenance of civil aircraft landing gear, Nondestructive Testing (NDT), and helicopter maintenance.
