Accor Signs Pullman New Capital Hotel & Residences, Marking Brand Debut in Cairo

Accor has announced the signing of the Pullman New Capital Hotel & Residences in Egypt, marking the debut of its Pullman Hotels & Resorts in Cairo and reinforcing its expansion in one of the region’s fastest-growing hospitality markets.

The project is being developed in partnership with Contact Developments, signaling the company’s entry into the hospitality sector and aligning with Egypt’s broader Vision 2030 development strategy.

Strategic Location in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital

The development will be located in New Administrative Capital, a rapidly evolving urban hub designed to become the country’s administrative and economic center. Positioned along Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and overlooking the Green River, the property will offer connectivity to key government, business, and residential districts.

Mixed-Use Destination With Premium Hospitality Offering

The project will feature a 150-key five-star Pullman hotel alongside 100 branded residences housed in high-rise towers. The integrated destination is designed to cater to modern travelers and long-term residents, blending hospitality with contemporary urban living.

Guests and residents will have access to a range of amenities, including:

  • Multiple dining venues, including a specialty restaurant and lobby lounge
  • Meeting and event spaces
  • Spa and fitness center
  • Swimming pool and leisure facilities

The concept reflects Pullman’s brand philosophy of creating spaces for collaboration, creativity, and cultural exchange.

Rising Demand for Branded Residences

The project also taps into the growing demand for branded residences in Egypt, offering contemporary living spaces supported by hotel services. This trend reflects the convergence of real estate and hospitality, particularly in emerging urban destinations.

Leadership Insights on Expansion

Raki Phillips, Regional President at Accor for the Middle East, Africa, and Türkiye, highlighted Egypt as a key growth market, noting that the project represents a significant milestone in expanding the group’s premium portfolio.

Ahmed Fikri, CEO of Contact Developments, described the partnership as a strategic diversification move, combining Accor’s global expertise with local development ambitions to create an integrated lifestyle destination.

Strengthening Global Presence

With more than 150 Pullman hotels across 40+ countries and over 60 projects in the pipeline, the brand continues to expand into high-growth markets. The Pullman New Capital development further strengthens Accor’s footprint in Egypt, reinforcing its position as a leading hospitality operator in the country.

The project underscores the growing importance of mixed-use developments, branded residences, and premium hospitality offerings in shaping the future of urban living across emerging markets.
