Academy certificates added to ADIBF event

Abu Dhabi, UAE; March 25, 2015: This years Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) has added another chapter to its already impressive contents as it continues to boost the regional publishing industry.

The event, which is organised by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), is the 25th in the annual series, and will take place at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 7th to 13th May. It will this year feature for the first time the ADIBF Academy a series of sessions designed to impart professional skills to participants in preparation for a career in either education or publishing in the 21st Century. The sessions will offer certificates on completion, in four categories: ADIBF Academy Future-Proof Teacher 2015, ADIBF Academy Future-Proof Publisher 2015, ADIBF Academy MENA Expert Publisher 2015 and ADIBF Academy Readers Guide 2015.

The Certificates will show that you are knowledgeable about current and future trends and technology necessary to work in your related field in the future, explainedH.E. Juma Al Qubaisi, ADIBF Director and Executive Director of the National Library a division of TCA Abu Dhabi,There will also be special certificates for this year only, specially designed for Librarians, for Teachers and on Visual Communication. We are very proud to be introducing the ADIBF Academy, where participants can pick and choose among the many top sessions in the professional program, according to their own preferences to earn one of our newly established certificates, as we look to secure a bright future for the regional publishing industry.

The eventwill feature lectures and discussions led by world-class speakers from the global and regional publishing industry, as well as experts from across the globe on education and cutting-edge learning technology and experienced teaching professionals in the region. The Professional Program,contains morethan 100 sessions and over 70 speakers over the course of the event, meaning there will surely be something for everyone during the Silver Jubilee edition of the popular showcase, one of the regions fastest growing book fairs.
