7X and Jordan Post sign MoU to strengthen postal and digital cooperation at Universal Postal Congress

7X, the UAE’s leading trade, transport, and logistics holding group and the official representative of the UAE in the Universal Postal Union (UPU), has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jordan Post to enhance cooperation in postal services, bilateral agreements, and digital transformation.

The agreement was formalized during a high-level meeting between delegations from 7X and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, led by Hanadi Al-Tayeb, Director General of Jordan Post, on the sidelines of the 28th Universal Postal Congress in Dubai. Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration and knowledge exchange in the postal and logistics sectors.

At the core of this partnership is ‘Waslah Post’, the world’s first digital marketplace aggregating postal operators. By providing national postal networks with direct access to global mail and commercial flows, the platform improves efficiency, reduces costs, and opens international markets to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and local merchants. Jordan Post is among the first to join this pioneering initiative.

Tariq Ahmed Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, emphasized that the collaboration reflects the strong bilateral ties between the UAE and Jordan.

“This partnership reinforces 7X’s commitment to advancing international cooperation in building a modern and intelligent postal system. Our digital solutions, such as Waslah Post, will drive innovation and digital transformation while empowering SMEs to thrive in global e-commerce markets,” he said.

Hanadi Al-Tayeb, Director General of Jordan Post, highlighted the significance of digital transformation for the postal sector.

“The signing of this MoU demonstrates our commitment to empowering SMEs, supporting entrepreneurs, and ensuring their access to global markets. By leveraging advanced digital platforms and logistics solutions, we aim to strengthen Jordan’s role in the international postal and logistics landscape,” she noted.

The partnership aligns with Jordan’s national vision to build an integrated and sustainable digital economy, while also supporting the UAE’s efforts to foster global postal cooperation. Together, both entities aim to deliver innovative solutions that advance postal services, enhance competitiveness, and contribute to economic growth at both regional and international levels.
