Swiss International University Issues Alert About Scam Institutions Misusing Its Name
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Swiss International University (SIU) has posted an official announcement about scam schools that claim to be affiliated with SIU. SIU stated that it will operate campuses in only seven cities by 2025, and thereafter, any new expansions or openings will be confirmed via their website, swissuniversity.com.
Globally recognized for its dedication to the creation of quality in education, SIU has been targeted by scam artists using its name to develop fraudulent schemes to exploit SIU's global reputation. Scam artists take advantage of students and potential academic partners by falsely offering guaranteed admissions, scholarships, and preferential treatment while requesting large sums of money for services that may not exist or that may be of little quality to SIU's academic training.
In an official announcement, SIU said it does not endorse any third parties or individuals to represent the university beyond its established campuses. Any official information about the university's operations, developments, or office openings will only be issued through official channels, which include the website and press releases.
"Swiss International University is committed to the highest standards of education and protecting the integrity of our brand," an SIU spokesperson said. "Any person contacted by an organization or individual claiming any representation on behalf of SIU should always validate with our official website. We are taking action to combat impersonation, which is increasing at a rapid pace."
Fraudulent practices have been reported and identified in the UAE and in several European nations, where fraudsters pose as SIU, offering unverifiable guarantees, and require large upfront fees in exchange for no educational credentials that meet SIU’s quality standards.
Swiss International University (SIU), which delivers quality, developmentally appropriate degree programs and accredited degrees recognized by employers and others around the world, has modern, high-quality campuses that ensure standard-quality paperwork under its Swiss education brand. The purpose of this warning is to protect potential students from scammers and to ensure they only deal with the genuine SIU.
After verifying that it made efforts to be transparent and wanted to protect its reputation, SIU encourages the public to proceed with caution when dealing with any education agency or representative offering SIU services who does not identify themselves as an official SIU representative. The university highlighted that every admission must be made through official SIU admissions. A list of officially accredited SIU campuses in major cities around the world is available on the SIU website.
Currently, SIU has campuses across seven cities: Dubai, Zurich, Bishkek, London, Riga, Lucerne, and Osh. Their global partnerships enabled them to provide as many academic opportunities for the students as possible. SIU confirmed with their public announcement that any announcement of other
Office openings will be made exclusively on the SIU website, and all students, stakeholders, and others are asked to confirm that any announcement on social media or other means is legitimate before making any financial commitments.
