How to Check and Download Your UAE Labour Contract Online for Free

If you’re working in the UAE, having quick access to your labour contract is essential—not only to review your employment terms but also for legal and financial purposes. Fortunately, the UAE's Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) allows all employees to view and download their official job contracts online, free of charge.

Whether you need to check your leave entitlement, contract duration, or work conditions, keeping a digital copy ensures transparency and quick access whenever required.

Why You Should Have a Copy of Your Labour Contract

According to Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021, every worker is entitled to a verified copy of their employment contract. Here's why it’s crucial to have it saved:

  1. Proof of Employment Terms

    • Confirms salary, allowances, responsibilities, and working hours.

  2. Legal Protection

    • Acts as official evidence in disputes or misunderstandings.

  3. Clarification of Rights & Duties

    • Prevents conflicts through clearly defined obligations.

  4. Documentation for Financial Needs

    • Required for loans, visa processing, renting apartments, etc.

  5. Future Reference

    • Helps when renegotiating terms or applying for new roles.
