Great News for Indian Travelers: UAE Expands Visa-on-Arrival Access!
Indian passport holders now have even more reasons to celebrate as the UAE has expanded its visa-on-arrival policy, making travel easier and more accessible! Effective February 13, 2025, Indian nationals holding valid residence permits or visas from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada can now enjoy visa-on-arrival privileges in the UAE.
Previously, this policy was only applicable to those with valid permits from the United States, the United Kingdom, and European Union countries. With the latest expansion, Indian travelers now have greater flexibility and opportunities to explore the UAE for tourism, business, or personal visits without the hassle of pre-arranged visas.
What You Need to Know
To qualify for visa-on-arrival, Indian nationals must meet the following requirements:
- A valid passport with at least six months of validity
- A valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card issued by any of the newly added countries
Visa Options & Fees
The UAE offers three main visa-on-arrival categories for Indian travelers:
✅ 4-day visa: AED 100
✅ 14-day extension: AED 250
✅ 60-day visa: AED 250
Additionally, Indian travelers can choose from other visa options, including:
- Single-entry tourist visas (30 or 60 days)
- Multiple-entry tourist visas (30 or 60 days)
- Long-term multiple-entry visa (valid for five years)
- Transit visas (available for 48 or 96 hours)
