Free Parking Announced for Eid Al Fitr in Sharjah, Dubai, and Ajman

Sharjah, Dubai, and Ajman municipalities have announced free parking across various zones during the Eid Al Fitr holiday, offering relief to residents and visitors celebrating the festive occasion.

Sharjah Free Parking Details

The Sharjah Municipality confirmed that all paid parking spaces will be free of charge from Shawwal 1 to 3. However, this exemption does not apply to the seven-day paid public parking zones, which remain operational throughout the week and during official holidays. These specific areas are marked by blue parking information signs.

Ajman Free Parking Announcement

Similarly, Ajman Municipality has declared free parking during the Eid Al Fitr holiday from Shawwal 1 to 3, ensuring ease of movement for residents and visitors enjoying the festivities.

Dubai Free Parking & Extended Metro Timings

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has also announced free public parking across the city from Shawwal 1 to 3, except for multi-level parking terminals, which will continue to charge regular fees. Paid parking services will resume on Shawwal 4.

To further accommodate Eid celebrations, Dubai Metro will extend its operating hours as follows:

  • Saturday, March 29 – 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day)

  • Sunday, March 30 – 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day)

  • Monday to Wednesday, March 31 to April 2 – 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day)

The free parking initiatives and extended metro timings aim to enhance convenience for residents and visitors, ensuring smooth transportation during the Eid festivities.
