Dubai–Sharjah Bus Services Begin Gradual Resumption After Rain Disruptions

Some intercity bus services between Dubai and Sharjah have started to resume on Saturday following disruptions caused by heavy rainfall across the UAE over the past few days.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed that Route E315, which operates between Etisalat Bus Station in Dubai and Muwailih in Sharjah, resumed operations from 11 am.

The service had been temporarily suspended due to adverse weather conditions, including heavy rain and water accumulation on roads, which affected transport networks and commuter movement across multiple emirates.

Authorities noted that services are being restored gradually, and passengers may experience minor delays as operations return to full capacity.

Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, allow extra travel time, and stay updated through official RTA channels for the latest service updates.

The resumption marks a step towards normalising public transport services following a week of unstable weather that disrupted daily travel across the UAE.
