Two rules about BLS appointments that differ from VFS: The service fee paid to BLS is non-refundable when an appointment is cancelled or missed. Required for All Applicants

Identity and residency documents:

1. Original passport with at least three months of validity beyond your last day in Spain, not older than 10 years, minimum two blank pages
2. All previous passports, even expired

3. Written consent from both parents with original signatures. Photocopies are not accepted.

The Carta de Invitacion

This is not a letter you write yourself. It is an official document that your Spanish host registers personally at their local police station (Comisaria de Policia), presenting their Spanish identity document and proof of address.
