The floating SPS will offer 27 primary services, including criminal and traffic report filing, as well as 33 additional services such as lost item recovery and permit requests. Lieutenant Colonel Faisal Al Tamimi, Director of the Assets and Facilities Department at Dubai Police, described the project as a “transformative leap forward in police services.” Designed with the needs of yacht and boat owners, water sports enthusiasts, and the maritime community in mind, the SPS will make police services more accessible than ever before.
