As the cooler months approach, Dubai Municipality has officially opened applications for temporary winter camps for the 2025–2026 season, inviting residents to apply starting Tuesday, October 21, at 10:00 a.m.

Residents interested in setting up winter camps can submit their applications online through the ‘Dubai Now’ app. Applicants are required to fill out the “Temporary Winter Camp Permit Application Service” form to begin the process.

According to Dubai Municipality, the move aims to ensure a safe, organised, and environmentally responsible camping season while offering residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy outdoor recreation during the winter months.

Before approval, all applications will undergo a review and document verification process to ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.

Once approved, campers can log in to the municipality’s online portal to access a variety of electronic services, including downloading a copy of the permit, requesting extensions, and claiming insurance refunds.

The initiative is part of Dubai Municipality’s continued efforts to provide community-friendly outdoor facilities that align with the emirate’s broader goals of promoting sustainable tourism and public well-being during the winter season.
