Yellow Door Energy Showcases Innovative Solar Solutions at FABEX 2024 to Support Saudi Arabia’s Heavy Industry

Yellow Door Energy, a leading sustainable energy provider in the Middle East and Africa, showcased its innovative solar technologies at the 11th edition of the International Exhibition for Steel, Steel Fabrication, Metal Forming, and Finishing (FABEX) 2024 in Riyadh. The company’s participation aligns with Saudi Arabia’s goal to reach Net Zero emissions by 2060, offering solutions aimed at reducing energy costs and enhancing sustainability within the Kingdom’s heavy industries.

At its FABEX stand, Yellow Door Energy introduced visitors to its solar lease solution, a cost-effective financing model that enables businesses to transition to solar power without upfront investments. Attendees were also treated to 360-degree virtual tours of the company’s solar plants and received expert advice on a range of sustainable energy solutions, including rooftop solar, carport solar, battery energy storage, and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

Solar Lease: A Sustainable and Cost-Effective Solution

A key feature of Yellow Door Energy’s offering is its solar lease solution, which provides businesses with a long-term contract, including a performance guarantee on the solar plant. This model allows companies to reduce energy costs by 15-40% without incurring capital expenses. Once the plant begins generating electricity, businesses pay a monthly energy bill, eventually owning the fully managed system post-lease.

Supporting Saudi Vision 2030 and Net Zero Goals

Ahmed Diab, Business Development Manager for Saudi Arabia at Yellow Door Energy, emphasized the company's dedication to supporting Saudi Arabia's sustainability targets: “We are proud to contribute to the Kingdom’s ambition to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2060. FABEX 2024 offered an ideal platform for us to introduce our cutting-edge solar technologies to the key players in Saudi Arabia’s heavy industry, empowering them to advance their sustainability efforts.”

A Platform for Innovation and Networking

FABEX is the GCC’s leading event for the steel and metallurgy industries, drawing more than 200 exhibitors from across the globe. The event provides a prime opportunity for industry leaders, manufacturers, and technology providers to showcase the latest innovations and foster partnerships that support the Kingdom’s ambitious development projects, such as Neom, Red Sea, Qiddiya, and Diriyah, all of which are driving demand for finished iron and steel products.

With the steel industry serving as a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s economy, the demand for sustainable and efficient energy solutions is projected to grow, bolstering efforts toward achieving Saudi Vision 2030.
