PROW Expands Cybersecurity Presence in Africa, Launches iGuard at GITEX 2024

The announcement was made during the 44th edition of the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) at Dubai World Trade Center, the region’s premier platform for technology and innovation.
Building on its strong presence in the Middle East, GCC, and Southeast Asia, PROW aims to enter the African market at a time when the demand for cybersecurity solutions is accelerating. Africa’s cybersecurity market is projected to exceed $3.7 billion by 2025, with opportunities across both the public and private sectors. PROW’s expansion will focus on securing key projects in cybersecurity, information security, and data management.
Strategic Collaboration for Market Growth

Launch of iGuard: PROW's Managed Security Services Arm
In addition to its expansion plans, PROW introduced iGuard, its new managed security services division, at GITEX 2024. This move is part of the company’s broader strategy to offer comprehensive, 360-degree cybersecurity solutions. iGuard will provide services ranging from consultancy and system implementation to advanced threat detection and prevention.
Benita Cherfane, who serves as Country Manager for the UAE and Central Asia at PROW, will lead iGuard as Managing Partner. She highlighted the division's proactive approach to tackling cybersecurity threats, saying, “iGuard is committed to preventing attacks before they happen. By delivering precise, actionable alerts, we help organizations stay protected while minimizing the noise that overwhelms security teams.”
