Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge opens invites for first Kuwait qualifier
The 13th qualifying round of the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge tees off at Kuwaits Sahara Golf & Country Club at 7.30am on Saturday, 31st October. Golfers in Kuwait are encouraged to form two-person teams and register on www.xeroxcgc.com for a chance to play in the grand finals in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, in December.
This year has seen some spectacular competition from executive golfers around the region and in South Africa, accumulating a strong pool of talent to participate in the November final, Dan Smith, Director of Integrated Marketing, Xerox Middle East & Africa said. The Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge has earned a reputation for being the best event of its kind in the Middle East, and we expect the competition in Kuwait to be nothing short of excellent.
The stunning 18-hole golf course, Sahara Golf & Country Club was built to PGA championship standards. Crafted by Peter Harradine, the designer behind golf courses in Doha and Jebel Ali, this charming and challenging course is 6730 yards long and features three lakes and nearly 5000 trees. Adding to the courses distinctive character are its 12 holes bounded by the race track of the Hunting and Equestrian Club.
Sponsors that are supporting the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge this year include Prestige Wealth Solutions (PWS the Dubai-based firm of financial advisors), long-term partner Ecco, RAK Tourism, and first-time sponsor, Aramex.
Further information about the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge, including registration to play in each qualifying round, is available at www.xeroxcgc.com. The tournaments announcements and action can be followed on social media through #XCGC2015.
