The Postal Sector Regulatory Committee Strengthens Emiratisation Awareness Among Postal and CEP Companies
The Postal Sector Regulatory Committee hosted a workshop titled "Emiratisation in the Postal and Courier, Express, and Parcels (CEP) Sector" in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), and the Emirates Human Resources Development Council.
The initiative aimed to update postal and CEP companies on the latest regulations governing Emiratisation in the private sector, providing guidance on strategies to achieve Emiratisation targets while utilizing the support offered by Nafis.
Key Focus Areas
The workshop highlighted the importance of ensuring compliance with regulations and outlined best practices to integrate Emiratisation strategies within business operations. Discussions covered:
- Collaborative efforts to train and develop Emirati talent.
- Expanding communication channels between stakeholders to match Emirati talents with suitable job opportunities.
- Precise methods for calculating Emiratisation rates and adhering to related laws and regulations.
Strengthening Emiratisation Efforts
Representatives from the partner entities shared insights into their initiatives to empower Emirati professionals in the private sector. Special emphasis was placed on programs designed to upskill and train Emirati talent, as well as fostering stronger collaboration between companies and relevant authorities to meet employment requirements.

Mohamed Khalid Bin Sulaiman, Chief Regulatory and Licensing Officer at the Regulatory and Licensing Sector, emphasized the importance of the initiative in aligning with the UAE’s strategic vision.
“This initiative underscores the commitment of the Postal Sector Regulatory Committee to contribute to increasing job opportunities for Emiratis,” Bin Sulaiman said. “By encouraging private businesses to hire Emirati talents, we aim to harness their skills and abilities to drive the nation’s economic growth. We are dedicated to ensuring companies in the postal and CEP sector remain informed about legislative changes and adhere to best practices, fostering a productive and compliant working environment.”
