Strategic partnership between Ajman Free Zone and Ajman Transport Authority to help push transport development strategy forward
In line with the continuing efforts to increase the attractiveness of Ajman's market environment to investors, contractors and other companies, the Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) has declared the signing of a vital Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Ajman Transport Authority (ATA), which is directed at improving service combination and placing a greater focus on client happiness and well-being.
The newly signed agreement marks the beginning of a strategic long-term partnership that holds both parties' given vision to develop the transportation sector, which will help pave the way for service to promote investor services; increase market community satisfaction with the assistance provided and maximize skills to produce appropriate solutions for the improvement of the transport sector.
Eng. Ali Abdulla Bin Towaih Al Suwaidi, Director General, Ajman Free Zone, emphasised the importance of the newly signed partnership, which presents a framework to integrate and consolidate the efforts to foster the growth of economic sectors and improve the competitiveness of Ajman's business environment. He showed AFZ's dedication to developing effective collaboration with concerned entities and stakeholders to help improve the attractiveness of the local business environment.
Al Suwaidi stated, This record falls in line with the movement to forge strategic alliances with public and private sectors to help realize Ajman Vision 2021. We continue to confident that our AFZ-based investors will reap the advantages of our business with Ajman Transport Authority--promoting cooperation across research and improvement (R&D) projects. AFZ is looking to play a vital role in the move to foster economic development and improve the majority of vital sectors, such as land and marine transportation and logistics.
Meanwhile, H.E. Eng. Omar Ahmed Bin Omeir, Director General, ATA, said, Promoting collaboration and coordination among the public and private sectors realise key importance, especially in terms of giving expertise, offering proposals, using capabilities and improving services. These partnerships play a significant role in the move towards increasing service quality, increasing customer satisfaction and improving the efficiency of state work, which fall in line with Ajman Vision 2021.
