Sharjah Sports Club Partners with KSQF to Strengthen Global Child Protection Efforts
Sharjah Sports Club has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Humanitarian Foundation (KSQF), reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and global child protection efforts. KSQF, an independent humanitarian organization chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, works to safeguard and empower vulnerable children worldwide, particularly in areas affected by conflict, poverty, and natural disasters.
The partnership will see Sharjah Sports Club promote KSQF’s initiatives through various channels. This includes displaying animated advertisements on electronic screens during ADNOC Pro League and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup matches hosted at the club’s stadium. Additionally, the KSQF logo will appear on media backdrops for press conferences and in mixed zones during football matches. A dedicated KSQF-branded panel will also be installed in the club’s indoor sports hall to ensure sustained visibility across all team sports.
The official signing ceremony took place at the Sharjah Football Company headquarters and was attended by key dignitaries, including H.E. Khalid Issa Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club; H.E. Abdullah Al Huraimel, Board of Trustees Member at KSQF; H.E. H.E. Khalid Issa Al Midfa emphasized that the agreement aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, underscoring the crucial role of sports clubs in fostering community partnerships and supporting humanitarian initiatives. He also expressed gratitude to Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi for her leadership in championing children’s rights globally.

"This partnership marks an important step in leveraging sports as a powerful tool for social good. Through this collaboration, we aim to amplify awareness about children’s rights and the critical work KSQF undertakes worldwide," Al Huraimel added.
Lujan Mourad echoed these sentiments, highlighting the importance of strategic partnerships in ensuring a safer and more just future for children. "By uniting the worlds of sports and humanitarian work, we are fostering meaningful change that extends far beyond stadiums," she said.
