Sandooq Al Watan launches the Mawhibatna Program 2022 in partnership with Aldar

Building on the success of the Mawhibatna Program in previous years, Sandooq Al Watan in partnership with Aldar proudly announce the launch of the 2022 elite Mawhibatna program for gifted and talented Emirati students.

Mawhibatna boldly aims to identify and nurture gifted Emirati students for the purpose of unleashing their potential and developing their abilities to excel in the future, through specialised and carefully designed programs delivered by world pioneers.

The first course of the year caters to students from grade 6 to grade 12 and is offered through Ivy Camps USA, a preeminent provider of innovative education designed for students seeking to go far beyond the boundaries of the traditional classroom. The course lasts one week, and will be run twice, from March 28th to March 31st and April 4th to April 7th. Students choose which week they attend. It is based on a comprehensive set of specialized and carefully designed active learning experiences which challenge students creative, intellectual, and emotional capacities.

"Through our quality programs, we seek to equip a generation with the skillsets that will enable them to gain knowledge and experience that qualify them to excel in different fields of education. In line with the directives of our wise leadership, our mission is to develop a conscious, educated and informed generation that is capable of contributing to the UAE's growth towards progress and prosperity, said Hind Baker, the Director General at Sandooq Al Watan.

Commenting on the launch of the program, Salwa Al Maflahi, Director of Sustainability and CSR at Aldar, said: Aldar is immensely proud of our long-standing partnership with Sandooq Al Watan, a socially philanthropic organization that creates and funds various youth development projects and initiatives such as the Mawhibatna Program. We are committed to supporting projects that help in the enrichment, cultivation, and nurturing of skills and talents of UAE students, whose contributions to the community and society will ultimately be the driving force of positive change for the nation for generations to come.

Grade 9 to 12 students will take on the role of architects by learning about structural design, the function and perception of space and by creating their very own 3D CAD model of a building. They will also explore Aerospace Engineering and cutting-edge space travel. Their learning journey will conclude as they explore the field of Public Health and how they can make a positive impact on their community through it.

Sandooq Al Watan is a social initiative launched by a group of Emirati business owners that aims to empower the citizens and society of the UAE to contribute to the nations development through growth opportunities, unleashing their greatest potential. The Mawhibatna program is one of several initiatives that will empower Emirati youth for generations to come.
