Samsung Wallet Enhances Travel Experience for Residents and Visitors in France
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd announced today the introduction of enhanced features for Samsung Wallet, designed to improve the travel experience for both residents and visitors in France. Starting this summer, Samsung Wallet will integrate with Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) on Samsung Galaxy devices, providing seamless public transportation access across the Île-de-France region through the Navigo Travel Card. Additionally, the Add to Wallet feature will streamline access to popular Parisian attractions and sites. A new partnership with Air France will also enable convenient flight ticket management on Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

Hassle-Free Local Transport in Paris
This summer, Samsung Wallet will support IDFM integration, offering residents and visitors a seamless public transport experience within the Île-de-France region. Users can access the IDF Mobilités app through a pre-loaded shortcut under the Transit menu of Samsung Wallet. Samsung Galaxy users can tap their devices to board or transfer between buses, metros, and Réseau Express Régional (RER) lines, eliminating the need for physical cards or tickets.
Simplified Travel Across France
Samsung Galaxy users can also enjoy payment card-based transit in multiple French cities, including Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse, Lille, and Aix-en-Provence. Additionally, RoissyBus and OrlyBus shuttles provide direct links between the city center and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Samsung Galaxy users can tap their device to pay and go, enhancing transport speed and accessibility.
Enhanced International Travel and Tourism
For international travel, Samsung Wallet now supports adding boarding passes for Air France and partner flights. Travelers can easily manage their boarding passes and enjoy smooth international payments and Add to Wallet capabilities when visiting France. Push notifications will prompt users to explore these features upon arrival, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
Samsung Wallet also enables the Add to Wallet function for tickets to iconic landmarks and attractions, making them accessible from a Samsung Galaxy device. Visitors can explore attractions like the Palace of Versailles and over 200 cinemas with ease
