NADEC Enhances Efficiency Across 34 Business Areas with SAP Signavio
The National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) has successfully implemented SAP Signavio to drive its digital transformation, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. The implementation aims to boost operational efficiency, diversify product offerings, and expand NADEC's presence in local, regional, and global markets.
In just five days, NADEC integrated SAP Signavio into 51 business processes, ranging from finance and procurement to sales and plant maintenance. The transformation, supported by the SAP Customer Success program, has already yielded significant benefits for customers, employees, and partners.
Saad Saud Alhowaimel, Vice President of Digital & Technology at NADEC, highlighted the project's role in supporting a diversified economy and contributing to regional and global food security. “The SAP Signavio business transformation project has allowed us to streamline operations, automate tasks, and gain greater control, enabling us to deliver exceptional service across the Middle East,” said Alhowaimel.
The success of the project earned NADEC the 'Best Achievement in a Business Process Management Program' award at the prestigious Business Transformation & Operational Excellence Awards in the U.S.
The transformation included integrating SAP Signavio with SAP S/4HANA, providing NADEC with real-time data on business transactions and inventory visibility. This integration resulted in a 37% reduction in average transaction time and nearly perfect product costing accuracy.
Omar Bukhari, Head of Consumer Retail Services at SAP Saudi Arabia, praised NADEC's forward-thinking approach, stating that SAP Signavio's comprehensive platform was instrumental in achieving rapid and scalable business process improvements.
Eman Goubran, Head of Sales EMEA South at SAP Signavio, emphasized the ease of integrating SAP Signavio with existing systems, allowing NADEC employees to collaborate efficiently and share knowledge seamlessly.
NADEC's digital transformation is part of a broader strategy to achieve self-sufficiency and food security in Saudi Arabia, focusing on sustainability, growth, and health. The company continues to lead the food industry with its commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence.
