Mkhitaryan & ArmenianPen Erebouni team join charity event to raise funds for orphanages
Armenian Caritas, a leading Armenian charitable organization, recently hosted a charity event for nearly 30 Syrian-Armenian underprivileged children at the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) Technical Center/Football Academy. The event saw the participation of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, a midfielder for the Armenian National Football Team, and Member of Germanys Borussia Dortmund Football Club, along with the ArmenianPen Erebouni team represented by Dikran Tchablakian, CEO, tecbuy, and KriKor Jabourian, Managing Partner, Airpo-Tech, who all motivated and encouraged young children to strive hard and do their best to achieve their goals and aspirations.
During the gathering, Tchablakian and Jabourian presented Mkhitaryan the unique golden Erebouni Haverj pen by renowned Italian luxury products company Montegrappa. Armenian symbols, including the pomegranate, the eternity wheel sign, Zvartnots and Echmiadzin cathedrals, and the national alphabet are featured on the pen. Mkhitaryan used the pen to sign two t-shirts and 20 balls, which will be sold in an auction to raise funds to support Armenian orphanages. In addition, he signed 30 souvenir balls and presented them to children. From his side, Mkhitaryan also gave them t-shirts, caps and balls.
Mkhitaryan said: Underprivileged children have a lot of potential and talent which need to be harnessed by providing them with quality education and other opportunities to make them respectable members of our society. We, as responsible citizens of Armenia, should take up this noble cause and do the best so that orphans can also have a bright future. I appreciate the efforts of Armenian Caritas as well as Dikran Tchablakian and KriKor Jabourian in organizing this charity event.
Dikran Tchablakian and KriKor Jabourian expressed their gratitude to the FFA and its President, Ruben Hayrapetyan, for providing them the opportunity to organize the event. They also thanked Mkhitaryan for participating in it to raise funds for supporting orphanages in Armenia.
