Huawei Showcases Advanced Cybersecurity Solutions at Security Next Congress During GITEX Global 2024
Huawei, a global leader in information and communications technology (ICT), reaffirmed its leadership in cybersecurity at the Security Next Congress, held during GITEX Global 2024. The event, themed “Safeguarding Cyberspace Ascension in the Age of AI”, highlighted Huawei’s cutting-edge security solutions, showcasing its commitment to securing digital infrastructure across cloud, network, and storage sectors.
The congress featured the unveiling of Huawei’s latest cybersecurity innovations, including the Xinghe Intelligent Network Security solution, Ransomware Protection Storage solution, and Huawei Cloud Security Intelligent Upgrade. These solutions are designed to safeguard enterprises as they navigate the complexities of the AI-driven digital age.
Eng. Zabri Adil from the OIC-CERT opened the event with a plenary address, emphasizing the need for global cooperation among Islamic countries to address emerging cyber threats. A key highlight of the congress was a panel discussion on the role of cybersecurity in AI, blockchain, and Web3, moderated by Mohammed Moteb Alosaimi, Chief Security Officer of Huawei Saudi Arabia. Panelists included industry experts from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Azerbaijan, reinforcing Huawei’s thought leadership in addressing cybersecurity challenges across various sectors.
Aloysius Cheang, Chief Security Officer at Huawei Middle East & Central Asia, emphasized, “Huawei’s end-to-end cybersecurity solutions empower industries to securely embrace the intelligence era, providing robust protection across the entire digital infrastructure.”
At the event, Huawei introduced its Xinghe Intelligent SASE Solution, an AI-driven security architecture that enhances cloud, network, and endpoint protection. Huawei also launched the Discover Huawei SASE Program, inviting security experts to explore real-world use cases of its intelligent solutions.
Huawei Cloud reinforced its zero-trust security framework, defending against 1.2 billion daily cyberattacks. The company’s OceanProtect Backup Storage was showcased as a premier solution for ransomware protection, enabling businesses to defend against data threats without succumbing to ransom demands.
