Huawei Network Summit 2024 (Middle East and Central Asia): Huawei Launches Xinghe Intelligent Network to Accelerate Digital-Intelligent Development in the Middle East and Central Asia
Huawei, a global leader in ICT solutions, hosted the Middle East and Central Asia leg of its Network Summit 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan, bringing together over 1,000 thought leaders, industry experts, and ecosystem partners to delve into the development trends and best practices of intelligent networks in the new era.
During the summit, Huawei unveiled its Xinghe Intelligent Network products and solutions, addressing various topics such as campus networks, wide area networks (WANs), data center networks (DCNs), and network security. These offerings aim to empower customers to seize new opportunities for intelligent development and maximize digital-intelligent productivity.
The global digital economy is experiencing significant growth, with various industries actively pursuing intelligent transformation. The penetration rate of artificial intelligence (AI) in core business scenarios across diverse industries is expected to reach 30% by 2026, contributing to a projected US$13 trillion to the global GDP by 2030.
Several countries in the Middle East and Central Asia, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kazakhstan, have announced intelligence strategies and released AI-related industry policies to drive prosperity across sectors.
Huawei's Director and President of ICT Products & Solutions, Yang Chaobin, emphasized the company's commitment to network technology innovation during his keynote speech. "Huawei is dedicated to collaborating with customers and partners to build Net5.5G-based network infrastructure that can empower all industries with intelligence," said Yang, underlining the company's vision to advance intelligence and move closer towards an intelligent world.
Leon Wang, President of Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, highlighted the company's focus on developing best-in-class products and solutions to support intelligent transformation across industries. "We fully upgrade our data communication solutions to Xinghe Intelligent Network based on Net5.5G, thereby building a network foundation for the intelligent era," Wang stated.
Huawei launched over ten innovative Xinghe Intelligent Network products and solutions at the event, catering to diverse scenarios such as campus networks, WANs, DCNs, and network security. The company also announced nine industry-specific solutions and flagship distribution products, reaffirming its commitment to serving customers in public services, finance, electric power, and education sectors.
At the summit, Huawei presented the "Imagine Wi-Fi 7" program, inviting tech enthusiasts to imagine innovative Wi-Fi 7 application scenarios. Additionally, Huawei and Ankabut jointly released a cloud data center showcase to promote the digital transformation of the education industry in the United Arab Emirates.
The event also saw the announcement of the Xinghe Intelligent SASE experience program, aimed at addressing the urgent need for intelligent upgrades of network security in the Middle East and Central Asia. Furthermore, Huawei introduced all-new upgrades to its IP Club member program, offering more rights and interests to members in the region.
