Having worked for the tech titan for over a decade, Liu will lend his global leadership expertise to the extension and development of Huaweis UAE services across carrier, enterprise, and customer segments. Huawei is prepared to optimize support to UAE digital change, ICT ecosystem, encouraging verticals market growth and social talents training towards a sustainable diversified digital marketplace.

Liu will be accountable for policy and procedures, in addition to presenting consultancy and assistance to customers. He will remain to drive Huaweis status as a facilitator of digital change and artificial intelligence (AI) enablement for government and private sector entities in the UAE, through the provision of protecting knowledge and communication technologies. We look ahead to operating with Liu to support the UAE driving digital targets.

Reflecting on his new role, Jiawei Liu said: It is an opportunity to have the opportunity to head operations in a market as interesting as the UAE. Known for its methodical approach to technology and innovation enactment, the UAE offers a significant chance for Huawei technologies, especially in terms of our 5G, AI, and cloud-based resolutions. Empowering digital transformation throughout the emirates by empowering our consumers with cutting-edge technology will be my priority.

The United Arab Emirates was forward-thinking years ago by prioritising digital change and harnessing new technologies. That is part of its wider political-economic development and diversification conversion. The countrys administration understood very early on that to compete with the best in the world in the future. UAE is developing its future on technology innovations and the power of disruptive technologies in envisioning UAE future as a digital nation. The UAE National Innovation Strategy, the UAE Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031, and the UAE Centennial 2071 Plan embody UAE ambitions that Huawei is keen and assigned to supporting, Liu added.
