HBMSU Chancellor joins global dignitaries at 40th session of UNESCO General Conference in Paris
Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), joined a gathering of worldwide figures partaking in the 40th Session of the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which was held recently at UNESCO headquarter in Paris, France. Dr. Al Awar went to the gathering alongside Stefania Giannini, Assistant Director-General of UNESCO's instruction part; heads of UNESCO's international institutes; official delegations of member states; associate members; and leading inter-government and non-government associations. The members examined the arrangements and principle activity designs that characterize UNESCO's projects and budget in the coming period.
During the event, Dr. Al Awar accepted the open door to underline the UAE's responsibility to supporting UNESCO's vision and its technique in actualizing the fourth objective of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals 2030, which is to guarantee impartial and comprehensive quality training and advance deep rooted learning open doors for all.
