Hakkini Opens New Mental Healthcare Clinic in Dubai Healthcare City, Plans to Hire Over 50 Clinicians by 2026

Hakkini Mental Health Clinics has officially inaugurated its first medical facility at Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), introducing a comprehensive range of neuroscience-led mental health services tailored for children, families, and adults. The launch comes amid growing demand for science-based mental health interventions in the UAE.

Spanning more than 5,000 square feet, the state-of-the-art clinic includes 21 therapy rooms, a neuropsychology treatment room, and a multi-use activity room. The clinic offers a fully integrated service model, housing a team of psychologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, all under one roof.

The facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, including computerized neuropsychological assessments and specialized rooms for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Clinical Neurofeedback. These rooms also feature red light therapy to create a calming therapeutic environment.

“Our mission is to provide science-based, personalised care that brings clarity and real, lasting support to people’s lives,” said Adam Griffin, CEO and Medical Director at Hakkini. “We combine the latest neuroscience innovations with compassionate, hands-on care from world-class therapists. We’re proud to align with the UAE’s National Quality of Life Strategy 2031 and support its leadership in mental health innovation.”

The clinic's launch coincides with a nationwide increase in mental health awareness initiatives. Recent milestones include Dubai becoming the first certified autism-friendly destination in the Eastern Hemisphere and Emirates airline becoming the world’s first autism-certified airline. Publishing houses have also launched journalism fellowships to improve media reporting on mental health.

“These developments reflect a broader societal shift towards understanding and addressing mental health concerns,” said Dr. Alexandre Machado, Clinical Director at Hakkini. “Modern technology allows us to provide personalised, non-invasive solutions that treat both the brain and the individual.”

Nabil Al Rantisi, Co-Founder of Hakkini, highlighted the economic and workplace impact of mental health issues. “We’ve developed neuroscience-based programmes that help organizations understand and improve cognitive and emotional performance related to burnout, focus, and decision-making. We’re eager to collaborate with public and private entities to promote employee well-being.”

According to Statista, revenue in the UAE’s mental health market is projected to reach US$149.10 million in 2025, emphasizing the urgent need for qualified mental health professionals. Hakkini plans to recruit 25–30 certified clinicians by the end of 2025, and over 50 by the end of 2026 to meet growing patient demand.

Hakkini’s multilingual team currently includes professionals proficient in Arabic, English, French, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, and Hindi. Services provided include:
