GEMS Education School Awarded Silver in Primary Science Quality Mark

GEMS Wellington Academy - Al Khail, was granted Silver in the Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) - the only national award scheme in the UK to establish and commemorate the quality of scientific research training and understanding in primary colleges - for progressing scientific research and positioning it at the forefront of the school educational program.

The school won the Silver award for effectively showcasing suitable and active targets for installing scientific research within the present school growth plan along with connecting the significance and value of scientific research to children's discovering.

The PSQM is led by the University of Hertfordshire, School of Education in partnership with the Key Scientific Research Training Trust. It is supported by the Royal Society for Chemistry, the Ogden Count On and the Organization for Science Education.

Ms. Cheryl Isaac, Primary Principal, GEMS Wellington Academy Al Khail said: "At our school children are encouraged to be interested and become essential thinkers via ingrained great practice and cross-curricular strategy to mentor and understanding in scientific research. We have constantly elevated the bar of excellence in discovering and receiving. This award is a testament of the efforts of our training personnel."

So far, given that its national launch in 2010, over 2,500 institutions across the UK have actually achieved the award.
