Fuel Systems Manufacturer Plans Global Expansion with New Facility in the UAE
Stanadyne, a fuel injection system developer based in Windsor, Connecticut, today announced arranges to open a facility in the UAE in spring 2016. The announcement follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Millat Tractors Ltd. that describes a long term partnership to provide fuel injection systems. The center will support growing sales in the area and offer technology to meet the demands for upcoming emissions requirements.
Stanadyne is an international leader in the design and manufacture of diesel and gas fuel systems. The services specializes in next-generation parts developed to satisfy strenuous international emissions requirements and is bringing its innovation to engine producers in emerging markets. Millat Tractors Ltd. is Pakistan's market leader in agricultural tractors and equipment. In partnering with Stanadyne, the company wants to enhance its position in Middle Eastern markets and concentrate on establishing its next generation of tractor and genset engines.
Representing Stanadyne at the finalizing were Dr. John Pinson, President and Chief Technology Officer, Steve Langin, Chief Financial Officer and Sanjay Chadda, Managing Director, Near East. Representing Millat Tractor Ltd. were Sikandar M. Khan, Chairman and Majority investor, Bashir Rana, Sr. Executive Director, Irfan Aqueel, Chief Executive and Farogh Iqbal Ahmad, General Manager Engineering and Supply Chain.

The brand-new facility is planned to open in April 2016 with Millat Tractors Ltd. as one of the very first consumers. Millat Tractors Ltd. will use Stanadyne's mechanical rotary pump innovation in their 50 to 85 HP (37 to 63 kW) tractor and genset designs.

Stanadyne will begin delivering pumps to Millat Tractor Ltd from their Dubai facility in May, 2016.
