Fidelity United has opened a new management office in Dubai as the UAE insurance provider marks five decades of operations in the country.

The new office, located at Golden Gate Building, 3rd Floor, Offices 302 and 303 on Umm Hurair Road in Oud Metha, began operations on July 29, 2026. Members of the company's board attended the inauguration.

The Dubai office expands Fidelity United's existing network across Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, strengthening its operational presence across the UAE.

New Dubai office marks 50 years of operations

The opening comes as Fidelity United celebrates 50 years since it began operations in the UAE in 1976.

Ahmed Nasef, CEO of Fidelity United, said the inauguration represented a significant moment for the company as it reached the five-decade milestone.

He said the insurer had served both corporate and individual customers across different lines of business over the past 50 years, with customer service remaining central to its operations.

Fidelity United rebranded under its current name in 2018 and expanded its presence into Sharjah and Dubai in 2019.

Company strengthens digital insurance capabilities

The new Dubai office comes amid a period of expansion and investment for the insurer.

Fidelity United recently partnered with SlashData to strengthen its digital insurance capabilities. It also entered into a strategic collaboration with Shory and EVS focused on supporting the development of electric mobility in the UAE.

The company has additionally secured an AED 107 million capital injection, which is expected to reinforce its financial position as it continues to expand its operations.

With offices now spanning five locations across the UAE, Fidelity United said its latest expansion builds on its five-decade presence in the country's insurance market.
