The Family Development Foundation (FDF) in Abu Dhabi welcomed a delegation from Sharjah's Family Development Department (FDD) at the Jebel Hafeet Community Centre to discuss strategies for advancing community development. The visit aimed to enhance cooperation between the two organizations and foster the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
Kenna Al Ameri, Director of the Jebel Hafeet Community Centre, warmly greeted the delegation led by Moza Al Shehhi, Director of the Family Counseling Department at the FDD. During the visit, Al Ameri praised the efforts of both parties to build strategic connections between government organizations and emphasized the importance of sharing experiences to improve community services.
The delegation toured the center’s facilities, where they were introduced to best practices in child play therapy, including diagnostic and treatment methods. They also explored the center’s various programs aimed at creating a supportive social environment for families and communities. These initiatives focus on enhancing social skills, promoting family communication, and improving the overall quality of life through innovative, non-traditional methods.
