ENOC receives three Superbrands laurels

In a strong demonstration of the powerful brand identity of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and its effective customer engagement, the organisation has been feted with the Superbrands 2015 laurel for the tenth consecutive year.

Highlighting its credentials in its world-class brand identity, values and proven success in customer engagement, Emirates Gas LLC (EMGAS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), was also honoured with the Superbrands accolade for the second consecutive year. ENOC Retail/ZOOM was recognised for the fourth time.

The honour is awarded by the UAE Superbrands Council, based on the parameters set by the worldwide Superbrands Council, an independent authority and arbiter of branding excellence. The Superbrands laurel underlines the value that customers place on an organisations products and services, and the effectiveness of the companys brand-building strategies and customer engagement initiatives.

ENOC Group, EMGAS and ENOC Retail/ZOOM have scored consistently high in all parameters of the Superbrands evaluation process, highlighting the organisations continued commitment to quality and customer service excellence. Shamma Al Falasi, Brand Manager, ENOC Group Communications, received the honour on behalf of ENOC from Mike English, Chairman, Superbrands Council and Director, Superbrands Middle East at a glittering ceremony held in Dubai.

Saif Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC, said on the occasion: Winning the Superbrands Award for the tenth consecutive year is indeed a true honour for ENOC, which is undoubtedly one of the most recognised brands in the UAE now. We have been undertaking concerted branding and marketing strategies to establish ENOC as a brand of choice. This is complemented by our strong customer service standards and commitment to environment, health and safety.

The award also comes at a time when we mark the significant expansion of ZOOM across the UAE. ZOOM has today defined its credentials as the regions largest network of convenience stores highlighted by our emphasis on product quality, freshness and customer service. The number of accolades received by ZOOM in a short span of time highlights our international competencies in retail, he added.

Taleb Al Saleh, Director Retail Operations & Marketing, EPPCO-Retail received the Superbrands Award on behalf of ZOOM at the awards ceremony.

Khalid Saad, Marketing & Sales Manager, EMGAS received the award for EMGAS on behalf of Hesham Ali Mustafa, Senior Director of ENOC Gas Marketing and General Manager of EMGAS. Hesham Ali Mustafa said: This award is a testimony of our significant progress towards excellence and leadership over the years. It recognises EMGASs distinct set of brand values and reputation and supports our company to build and strengthen the trust of customers in choosing our quality products and services.

ENOC handles a diverse business portfolio including the development and production of oil & gas, gas gathering & processing, production & selling of petrochemicals, marketing & retailing of petroleum products at service stations, oil trading, terminalling & storage, refining, aviation fuel marketing, lubricants marketing, bunkering and various oil related shipping activities.

EMGASs proven credentials as a company that cares for its customers and the community played an important role in receiving the support from the Superbrands Council. The organisation not only offers free maintenance of cylinders and painting for a neat look, free replacement of cylinders after its economic life cycle and 24/7 maintenance service to bulk customers; but it also provides free cylinders for the needy during Ramadan through Dar El Bar society.

More than 2,500 marketing professionals selected ENOC and its businesses for the honour from over 1,000 short-listed organisations, following a rigorous evaluation process. The Superbrands Council in each country comprises individuals with exceptional aptitude in business and a thorough knowledge of the countrys markets and methods of business.
