Empower to Participate in WETEX 2024 as a Strategic Sponsor

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower), the world’s largest provider of district cooling services, has announced its strategic sponsorship for the 26th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2024). The event, scheduled to take place from October 1 to 3, 2024, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), will showcase Empower's innovative district cooling solutions.

Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, emphasized the significance of WETEX, organized annually under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Bin Shafar highlighted that the exhibition serves as a key global platform for promoting sustainability and clean energy, aligning with Dubai's Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050. These initiatives aim to produce 100% of Dubai's energy from clean sources by 2050.

Empower's participation in WETEX 2024 underscores its commitment to environmental protection and the promotion of energy-efficient district cooling systems. The event offers a unique opportunity to present Empower’s advanced technologies and solutions, fostering a broader understanding of the benefits of adopting sustainable practices in the cooling industry. It also aims to increase awareness about green buildings and the importance of rationalizing energy and water consumption.

WETEX 2024 is expected to attract investors, decision-makers, and institutions from around the world, facilitating strategic partnerships and knowledge exchange. The event provides a platform for in-depth discussions on industry challenges and opportunities, focusing on sustainable development, green economy, and solar energy utilization.

Bin Shafar noted the growing global demand for district cooling systems, driven by the need for sustainable and cost-effective solutions that contribute to environmental conservation and carbon emission reduction.
