Emaar brings colourful pageantry to mark 43rd UAE National Day with The Parade Downtown Dubai on Nov. 29
Emaar Properties, the global property developer, will mark the 43rd UAE National Day with unprecedented pageantry on November 29, 2014, from 3 to 5pm by showcasing The Parade Downtown Dubai, UAE National Day.
Celebrating The Spirit of the Union, the colourful celebration is one of the most-awaited and attended UAE National Day events. To be held on Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, the glorious thoroughfare in Downtown Dubai, the event will pay tribute to the richness of Emirati heritage and identity, and also celebrate the illustrious accomplishments of the country and its cultural diversity.

He added: In addition to celebrating the rich cultural fabric of our nation, the parade will put the spotlight on the rich Emirati heritage and our colourful traditions. It also highlights the spirit of solidarity among the people, which has enabled the UAE to become an inspiring nation that leads by example in all sectors of life. Through our consolidated efforts with the public and private sectors, we will once again shine the spotlight on The Spirit of the Union, which marks UAEs defining identity.
Commemorating the sterling achievements of the nation, the parade will integrate animated floats, mascots and silt walkers with much pomp and show. Highlighting the multicultural diversity of Dubai, dancers representing diverse cultures will bring added colour with their mesmerising performances. Visitors will be provided UAE National flags and balloons in varied shapes to join in the festivities.
A number of Dubai-based schools, government organisations, corporate entities, CSR groups and community organisations are taking part in the parade this year, lending unmatched splendour and spectacle.
Inflatables representing, Emaar Retail (SEGA Republic, Reel Cinemas, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, KidZania), UAE Heritage and an International Globe, will be exhibited during the parade.
Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard connects Downtown Dubais iconic attractions including Burj Khalifa, the worlds tallest building; The Dubai Mall, the worlds largest retail and entertainment destination with 1,200 retail outlets; and The Dubai Fountain, the worlds tallest performing fountain. It also links several shopping, hospitality, entertainment and dining attractions within the 500-acre community.
The boulevard also hosts spectacular events including the Emirates Classic Car Festival and offers vintage views of the Downtown Dubai New Years Eve Gala.
