elm receives institutional excellence award for occupational health and safety in 2025
elm, a leading provider of digital solutions and information technology services in Saudi Arabia, has received the Institutional Excellence Award in Occupational Health and Safety for Large and Mega Enterprises 2025, in recognition of its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety.
The award was presented during the Labour Award, one of the national initiatives launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, following elm’s achievement of 100 per cent compliance with the requirements of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health. The recognition reflects the company’s strong adherence to national occupational safety standards and its sustained efforts to provide a safe and healthy work environment.
Majid bin Saad Al Arifi, Official Spokesman and CEO Vice President of the Marketing Sector at elm, said the Labour Award is among the most significant national initiatives recognising excellence in the private sector and encouraging the adoption of best workplace practices.
“Achieving full compliance with the regulations of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health reflects elm’s firm commitment to protecting the health and safety of its employees and maintaining approved national standards,” Al Arifi said.
He added that the recognition is the result of the collective efforts of elm’s teams, particularly the Corporate Planning and Enablement Group, in strengthening a culture of safety across the organisation. He also noted that employee participation in the evaluation and survey processes played a vital role in securing the award, underscoring elm’s focus on creating a safe, engaging, and motivating workplace.
elm’s continued dedication to occupational health and safety best practices aligns with the objectives of the National Strategic Program of Safety and Occupational Health, which aims to enhance safety standards across workplaces and foster a preventive safety culture within private-sector organisations.
The recognition reflects an integrated institutional effort across elm, with multiple teams working collaboratively to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations, raise internal awareness, and implement robust systems and processes. It also highlights the success of an internal communications campaign launched in September 2025, which supported employee engagement and contributed to the company’s qualification for the national competition.
The award further underscores the trust and confidence placed in elm by government partners and reflects the strong alignment of strategic objectives between both parties. elm reaffirmed its commitment to advancing occupational health and safety as a core element of its organisational culture, supporting sustainable performance and employee wellbeing across all operations.
