Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi visits GEs pavilion at WFES 2015
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi today visited the pavilion of GE (NYSE: GE) at the World Future Energy Summit 2015.
President Al-Sisi was received by Deb Frodl, GE Global Executive Director, ecomagination and Mohammed Mohaisen, CEO, Power Generation Products & Services Sales, GE Power & Water Middle East & North Africa.
He was provided an overview of the companys participation at the Summit, with a special focus on GEs advanced energy efficiency innovations that complement the sustainable development focus of the UAE and the region, as well as the companys support to Egypt to drive capacity and efficiency to its power plants through several public and private partnerships.
At the World Future Energy Summit 2015, GE is putting the spotlight on its ecomagination and Industrial Internet technologies. Ecomagination is GEs technology platform to increase customer productivity and drive cleaner energy solutions, while Industrial Internet underlines the companys unique strategy of leveraging big data and big iron (industrial machinery) to achieve significant productivity leaps.
Among the highlights are GEs Jenbacher gas engines product line that has set the standard for continuous innovation, high power density as well as low installation costs and emissions.
GE is also presenting its heavy duty HA gas turbines that offer greater fuel flexibility and assists in the most cost-effective and cleaner conversion of natural gas to electricity in the 50 Hz H-class industry.
GEs green technologies and solutions are showcased at its stand 6120 at WFES 2015.
