Ducab showcases energy security and renewable power solutions at ADIPEC 2026
UAE-based manufacturer Ducab Group is showcasing its high-voltage cable solutions and specialised technologies at ADIPEC 2026, highlighting the role of domestic manufacturing and resilient supply chains in supporting regional energy security.
The company said its UAE-based manufacturing capabilities, local sourcing and cable engineering solutions help strengthen the infrastructure needed to maintain reliable electricity networks and support the expansion of clean energy.
According to the International Energy Agency (IEA) figures cited by Ducab, global investment in clean energy and electrification is expected to reach $2.2 trillion in 2026. Of this, $550 billion is allocated to power grids, representing an increase of nearly 20% year-on-year.
Ducab said strengthening local industrial capacity can help reduce exposure to international supply bottlenecks and disruptions.
Ducab reports 96.58% ICV score
The company has achieved an In-Country Value (ICV) score of 96.58% and sources 40% of its industrial raw materials locally, according to the announcement.
These figures reflect its efforts to support domestic manufacturing and strengthen local supply chains.
Ducab also reported a 10% increase in renewables sales, which it attributed to growing demand for infrastructure supporting clean energy projects.
Cable solutions for renewable energy projects
In line with the UAE's Net Zero by 2050 strategic vision, Ducab is presenting a portfolio of specialised cables designed for solar, wind and high-voltage transmission applications at the exhibition.
The solutions are intended to support the integration of renewable energy into electricity grids and the transmission and distribution of power.
Visitors can explore the company's products and energy initiatives at Stand 4430 in Hall 4 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
Ducab said its participation highlights the contribution of UAE manufacturing and engineering capabilities to the country's energy security, while supporting sustainable power generation, transmission and distribution in international markets.
