Dubai Police brief Media on the SPS project

Officials at Dubai Police has recently briefed national and foreign media outlets on the strategic objectives of the forces Smart Police Stations (SPS) project.

Welcomed by Brigadier Ali Ahmed Abdullah Ghanem, Director of Al Muraqqabat Police Station, journalists and media personnel learned about Dubai Polices newly transformed Smart Police Station at Al Muraqqabat that has been recently visited by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Brigadier Ali Ahmed Abdullah Ghanem highlighted Dubai Polices keenness to transform all its stations into smart police stations that can provide services round the clock without human intervention.

Brig. Ghanem quoted His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, who said that being a leader in shaping the future requires the country to harness advanced technologies.

Brig. Ghanem added that Dubai Police plan seeks to reduce the number of customers who need to visit government service centres by 80 per cent and provide the highest level of services to people of determination.

The Director of Al Muraqqabat Police Station informed the media on the services the Smart Police Station offers, which include 27 main services and 33 sub-services. The services are provided in seven languages, including Arabic, English, Spanish, French, German, Russian and Chinese.
