Dubai launches new digital system to streamline legal profession services

Dubai has introduced a new Legal Profession System, a fully integrated digital platform designed to modernise and streamline services for advocates, legal consultants, and law firms across the emirate. The initiative was announced by the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department as part of the emirate’s broader strategy to accelerate the digitisation of government services.

The upgraded platform consolidates all essential services — including registration, licensing, and professional conduct procedures — into a unified, one-stop digital framework. By enabling access through a single window, the system eliminates the need for users to navigate multiple channels or government entities.

According to the Department, the platform also reduces paperwork, improves flexibility through digital identity login, and enables seamless movement between its website and smart application. Integration with other government systems significantly shortens processing times while enhancing overall service quality.

Dr Lowai Mohamed Belhoul, Director General of the Dubai Legal Affairs Department, emphasised the customer-focused nature of the new system. “Our priority is to simplify and elevate the user experience by adopting advanced digital solutions that save time, effort, and cost,” he said.

He added that automating internal processes and strengthening collaboration with partner entities have been key to boosting operational efficiency and delivering innovative legal services. The new system supports Dubai’s ongoing efforts to provide world-class, digitally enabled government services and ensure an improved user experience across the emirate’s legal ecosystem.
