Dubai Customs and DMI ink agreement to provide a radio program on development

Dubai Customs is totally gotten ready to mark the UAE Innovation Week, revealed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The UAE innovation Week will run from November 22nd to 28th, to mobilise public and economic sectors to harness development to keep up with the fast changes and developments worldwide.

As part of the lots of activities that remain in place in prep work for the week and for the function of educating the general public about innovation and its indispensability to countries' development, Dubai Customs signed a cooperation contract with Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) to provide an early morning radio protocol, titled UAE Innovation Week. The broadcast will be aired throughout the week on Dubai FM radio.

The agreement was sealed by Khalil Saqer bin Gharib, Dubai Customs' Corporate Communication Director, and Amal Al Halyan, Director of Dubai FM radio.
Fares Qaraan will be the show host who will be having 14 top Dubai Customs officials and innovators in 7 episodes to take on the value of development in the general public and economic sectors, in addition to the measures taken by Dubai Customs to ensure consumer happiness. The program will also highlight the events brought out by Dubai Customs to celebrate the UAE Innovation Week at numerous city locations.

The agreement is an extension of the cooperation tie in between the two parties which commenced in March 2014. Events marking the UAE Innovation Week will consist of Innovation Festival, workshops, conceptualizing sessions, book fairs and the first-ever Dubai Customs' Innovation Lab to be held on November 24th.
