Dubai Culture organises blood donation campaign as part of Hayatuk initiative
Dubai, UAE; September 21, 2014: Underlining their social responsibility, employees of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirates dedicated authority to promote the arts, culture and heritage, took part in a blood donation campaign.
The campaign was part of Dubai Cultures Hayatuk initiative to drive philanthropic and charitable work, and was organised in partnership with Dubai Health Authoritys Blood Donation Centre and Al-Futtaim Group.
The Hayatuk initiative aims at strengthening constructive communication between Dubai Culture and its employees, boosting their personal and career skills on all levels, providing them with the adequate healthcare and moral support, and enhancing their career satisfaction, which in turn results in higher institutional loyalty.
The Human Resources Department at Dubai Culture constantly supports various activities and community events. They took part in the blood donation campaign, which is regarded as a noble humanitarian act that contributes to instill the values of volunteerism among the employees. It also promotes awareness of the importance of blood donation and its role in saving the lives of thousands of patients, and improve their health and physical well -being.
The strong turnout for the campaign underlines the commitment of Dubai Cultures employees to positively contribute to enriching peoples lives across all segments of society. It also highlights their loyalty and sense of belonging to their country, and keenness to foster the values of cooperation and mutual assistance for the welfare of the community, said Khalid Al Doobi, Director of Human Resources at Dubai Culture.
