Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has announced an extension of the submission deadline for the 13th edition of the Sikka Art and Design Festival. The new deadline, set for 31st October 2024, provides Emirati, UAE, and GCC-based artists, performers, culinary artists, and retailers additional time to showcase their creativity in the festival.

Held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture, the festival will take place from 31st January to 9th February 2025 in Al Shindagha Historic Neighbourhood. Artists are encouraged to submit unique and environmentally conscious works, such as visual arts, sculptures, photography, murals, and culinary arts. The event will also feature interactive workshops, performances, and discussions.

The Sikka Art and Design Festival is part of Dubai Art Season and supports Dubai's vision of becoming a global cultural hub. Interested participants can apply via the official Dubai Culture website.
