Dubai Civil Aviation Authority Reports Substantial Growth in Drone Ecosystem for 2023-2024
The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) has announced a remarkable expansion in Dubai’s drone ecosystem during the 2023-2024 period. The sector experienced a 76% surge in registered drone pilots, a 53% increase in registered drone firms, and a 75% rise in monthly drone operations, highlighting the city’s commitment to advancing air transport and logistics technologies.
His Excellency Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of the DCAA, emphasized the importance of this growth, stating, “This remarkable development underscores our efforts to foster innovation in the air transport sector, ensuring Dubai remains at the forefront of adopting advanced technologies.”
