DGHR Releases Report on the Future of Human Resources Management in Dubai

The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has unveiled its latest report, "Navigating Tomorrow's Human Resources in Dubai: Major Drivers and Future Trends in Human Resources Management." This comprehensive document offers insights into the future of human resources (HR) in Dubai, aligning with the national strategies and vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, to establish Dubai as a global innovation hub.

The report aims to identify the future needs and expectations of Dubai's HR sector. It includes proposals and solutions to enable and motivate both national and international talents, emphasizes the need for strategic partnerships with government and private sectors, and highlights the importance of sustainable development and community well-being.

In addition to exploring the current HR practices in Dubai's public and private sectors, the report addresses anticipated developments and key drivers of change. Several HR specialists contributed, providing valuable recommendations on navigating new opportunities and challenges.

His Excellency Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR, stated, "The report is a practical and strategic tool reflecting the commitment of the Human Resources Service of the Government of Dubai to offer innovative insights and solutions that promote the growth of the human resources sector. It aligns with our mission of developing smart solutions, formulating flexible and innovative policies, and supporting talented minds that improve Dubai's competitiveness."

Al Falasi highlighted that the report provides a distinctive perspective on Dubai's future in HR, addressing challenges and offering suggestions to strengthen the sector's position in government organizations. Key focus areas include talent attraction and retention, learning and development, the integration of cutting-edge technology in HR management, and enhancing the employee experience within government entities.
