Dar Global has appointed Gulf Asia Contracting to construct the podium of the Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai, marking a major construction milestone as the luxury development moves into its next phase following the completion of enabling works.
The London-listed luxury real estate developer announced that the enabling works are scheduled for completion in September 2026, paving the way for podium construction to begin. The appointment reflects the project's continued progress and adherence to its development timeline.
Situated on Sheikh Zayed Road at the gateway to Downtown Dubai, the development is one of the city's most anticipated luxury projects. Dar Global said the latest contract reinforces its strategy of partnering with leading regional contractors to deliver high-quality developments.
Ziad El Chaar, Chief Executive Officer of Dar Global, said the appointment represents another important milestone for the project.
"Following the successful completion of our enabling works, we are pleased to appoint Gulf Asia Contracting to deliver the podium construction for Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai. This marks another important milestone as the project continues to progress according to plan and reflects our commitment to partnering with leading contractors to deliver exceptional quality throughout every stage of development," he said.
First unveiled in April 2025, the Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai is expected to become a prominent addition to the city's skyline. The development will rise approximately 350 metres across 80 floors, combining a luxury hotel, branded residences and an exclusive private members' club.
The tower will feature what is expected to be Dubai's highest outdoor swimming pool, two signature penthouses inspired by New York's iconic Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue, and panoramic views of Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai and the Arabian Gulf.
Dar Global said the appointment of Gulf Asia Contracting underscores the continued momentum of the project as construction advances in line with its planned delivery programme.
