Another major highlight of the company's participation was a keynote by Dr. Amr Saad, Group Innovation Director at BARQ Systems, titled “From Systems of Record to Systems of Action.”
The presentation examined how enterprise architecture is evolving from systems primarily designed to capture and store information towards intelligent environments capable of interpreting data, supporting decisions and initiating business processes.
“The value of enterprise technology is changing. Organizations are moving beyond systems that simply record information toward systems that can understand, decide and act.”
Dr. Saad said the opportunity lies not simply in adding AI to existing software, but in connecting enterprise applications, cloud, data, automation and cybersecurity so that insights can translate into execution.
He also pointed to BARQ Systems' 50-plus AI and GenAI use cases as examples of how the company is applying this approach to practical enterprise requirements.

BARQ Systems CEO and Group Founder Mahmoud Soliman said the boundaries between infrastructure, cloud, applications, cybersecurity, managed services and AI are increasingly disappearing.
According to Soliman, customers are looking for a coherent architecture that connects infrastructure, applications, data, security, operations and AI rather than separate technology solutions.
He said BARQ Systems' capabilities across these areas have been developed over several years and that the company's focus is now on bringing them together more closely to help organisations build, secure and operate intelligent enterprise environments.
